Understanding Perinatal Anxiety - How to Build Emotional Resilience in Ourselves & Others

This course contains 5 mixed media modules that look at what good emotional health and resilience is and what it is not.

It examines some of the common barriers to good emotional health and then looks specifically at the challenges for the parenting life stage.

A thorough understanding of the mind body connection is included to fully appreciate the negative impact of anxiety on our emotional health and wellbeing.

The course looks at some of the most damaging beliefs that can leave parents vulnerable to emotional distress and threaten their mental health.

The final 2 modules look at practical strategies to support parents including challenging harmful beliefs and thoughts and supporting parents through guided exercises that lower anxiety, transform unserving beliefs and connects them with their own resources to thrive into parenthood.
